Bike Leasing Widget

IMPORTANT – Germany only

The Bike Leasing Widget is intended exclusively for use in the German market.
All leasing calculations are based on the German tax and social security system and are not valid for other countries or tax regimes.

Overview

This page gives you a high-level overview of the Bike Leasing Widget and the associated integration steps.
The detailed functional description and the technical integration (“Add Widget”) are documented in separate sections/documents.

1) Leasing Widget – Description

  • Explains what the Leasing Widget does, how it is displayed in the shop, and which information is shown to end customers.
  • Contains all functional details such as:
    • price source (backend markup vs. dealer-leasing-price from the frontend)
    • supported states (approximation / calculation)
    • placeholders/slots (e.g. {{rate}}, {{leasing-price}}, {{savings}}, {{duration}})
    • example texts, disclaimers, and notes on presentation.
  • These points are essential for both the correct functioning and the visual presentation of the widget and should be decided on an organizational/product level before the implementation is commissioned.

Reference: see “Leasing Widget – Functional Description” for full details.

2) Leasing Integration – “Add Widget”

  • Describes how the widget is technically integrated into the shop.
  • Clarifies:
    • which data must be provided by the shop (e.g. product price, dealer-leasing-price, customer context),
    • which configuration options are available on our side (e.g. backend markup, provider logos, display mode rate vs. price),
    • where and how the “Add Widget” integration should be placed in the UI (e.g. product detail page, teaser, CTA buttons).

Reference: see “Leasing Integration – Add Widget” for technical and implementation details.
